Dr. Patrick Coyne graduated from the University of Colorado School of Dentistry in 2003 after completing his Bachelor of Art and Bachelor of Science degrees from the New Mexico State University, where he studied biology and foreign languages. He also worked at the Los Alamos National Laboratory and eventually returned to NMSU to complete his master’s degree inspired by his work there. Dr. Coyne is very keen on continuing his education on a monthly basis, and he has completed the full Dawson Institute for Advanced Dental Studies curriculum as well as a six-month preceptorship in implantology at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center in San Antonio.

In addition to his 17 years practicing in southern New Mexico, Dr. Coyne is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry and a Diplomate of the American Sleep and Breathing Academy, which specializes in the treatment of obstructive sleep apnea. As a dentist, his goal is to provide exactly the kind of care he would like for himself. He has experienced all manner of dental and medical surgeries and has been fortunate to experience the utmost professionalism, which he strives to emulate. He wants to let patients know that he genuinely cares about their experiences while undergoing treatment.

Dr. Coyne has a family of four that he spends much of his time with, and he enjoys watching his children learn and grow. He is an avid cyclist, and when he’s not at work, he also enjoys skiing, hiking and training dogs.
